Where exactly are the flats?
Grabengasse 15, in the middle of Passau's Old Town. Both flats are in the same house: the Altstadt Apartment on the first floor, the Garden Apartment directly above it on the second. Five minutes on foot to both rivers, two to the Stephansdom, about twelve to the main station. No lift, you come up a beautiful old spiral staircase.
Is there parking?
The house is in the pedestrian zone, so there is no parking at the door. For unloading, stop briefly at Theresienstraße 19, one minute away. Our guests get a free spot in a private garage, about 15 minutes on foot (details on request). Prefer closer? Zentralgarage is 8 minutes on foot, ca. 15 EUR per 24 h.
How does check-in work?
Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 12:00. Key handover your way: key box any time, or a personal welcome from one of us. Just tell us roughly when you arrive.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome in both flats. Just mention them when you book.
Is it quiet?
Yes. In the Altstadt Apartment all windows face the calm green courtyard, the Garden Apartment looks onto the garden from all rooms, and in the house it is quiet from 22:00 to 8:00. One honest note: it is an old building and it carries sound, so sometimes you hear the neighbours' footsteps (not voices).
Can we come by bike?
Yes, gladly. Free bike storage and charging in our office downstairs, access around the clock. Rental bikes via our partner Rent-a-Bike (Bahnhofstraße 29D): delivered for free to the house, ready to start in the morning. And the Danube cycle path runs right through Passau.
Can we book both flats for a bigger group?
Yes. The Garden Apartment is directly above the Altstadt Apartment, in the same house. Together you have room for up to 10 guests: four downstairs, six upstairs. Book both here, or write to us and we sort out the dates with you.
